Trained as a chef in a five-star hotel after high school, he worked extensively in the culinary industry in various forms before turning his gaze to photography. Drawing from his culinary background, Silvio creates and discovers narrative in his images, ever curious about how food can look and be presented. His images oscillate between loud and quiet photographic answers to the questions he poses, but remains consistently appetizing and authentic.
