Laura Pannack is a renowned healthcare, portrait, and social documentary photographer based in London. Her images explore the complex relationship between subject and photographer and aim to suggest the shared ideas and experiences that are entwined in each frame that she shoots. Driven by research-led self-initiated projects in her personal work, Laura’s commercial work utilizes her experience working with talent of all stripes, professional or amateur, and particularly with marginalized populations in healthcare work. Her ability to build trust and rapport with her subjects enables her to achieve intimate, elusive results that others aspire to. She has been published and exhibited internationally, and is the recipient of numerous awards; most recently, the John Kobal award for the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize.
