Richard Wadey documented Kushti wrestling in a recent personal project. He immersed himself in the environment, capturing striking stills and motion.  Shooting athletes, he had to make efficient use of limited time, getting close to the action in a spontaneous, organic experience.  Richard’s photographs and film go hand in hand, capturing different yet consistent aspects of his subjects.
