Sven Schrader, director and cinematographer, has produced a new series of photos and a film for Schatten und Licht. Created in collaboration with Heimat agency and shot in Berlin, the campaign focuses on the balance between laughter and tears. Through natural performances by the actresses, it draws attention to an often-hidden reality: one in ten women experiences postpartum depression. The message is simple, no mother should feel the need to hide her true feelings. The work is shown across Germany on social media and posters.
