Mauricio Alejo hails from Mexico City, and splits time between there and New York City. After studying art on a Fulbright scholarship, Mauricio devoted himself to still-life photography, developing his dedicated, object-related photographic idiom that concerns the phenomena of appearance, being and reality. His unique, thought-provoking conceptual style and friendly, dedicated demeanor endear him to numerous advertising and editorial clients.  In addition to his commercial and editorial work, Mauricio is a well-established fine-art photographer, presenting his work often at numerous exhibitions all over the world.
