Lidl in Sweden created their own brand, “Matriket,” featuring goods from Swedish agriculture. To increase awareness and knowledge of the brand, photographer duo AORTA built a 15-square-meter physical miniature world that served as the basis for film and still image production. The idyllic agricultural landscape came to life with the help of 3D-animated characters, including farmers, families, animals, and farming vehicles. 

 

The shooting took place in Stockholm in cooperation with a TVC production. No AI was used, but extensive 3D animation was employed. Seventeen images were shot, featuring various groups of food carefully arranged on the delicate, uneven landscape over a single day. The images were used across Sweden in numerous formats, including outdoor campaigns, subway ads, posters, social media, point-of-sale displays, and more.
